FUNKGURUS is a British limited company, with offices & audio visual production facilities
located in the UK. After 6 successful years working in the UK as 'Meantime Artist
Management', FUNKGURUS was established to look after clients' live music and audio
visual needs within the UK and abroad.
The People
Craig Hume
Craig is a consummate music professional with over 15 years experience in music
performance, media composition & event management. Initially, Craig trained and
qualified as a sound engineer and has played Saxophone professionally, working with
The Justin Hayward Band (Moody Blues), Mike D’Abo Band, The Johnny Mars Band (USA)
and numerous other professional artists.
Craig launched UK based ‘Meantime Artist Management’ in 2003, creating a roster
of the finest global performers and entertainers. Amongst others, his artists have
appeared for: HRH Prince William of Wales; Gerhard Schroder; Oscar Lafontaine; Ronnie
Wood; Planet Hollywood Berlin; Elton John; GQ Magazine; The British Film & TV awards;
Garrards Jewellers.
Whilst living in the Middle East, Craig has produced music for advertising agencies
including Akeel Saatchi & Saatchi and Tihama, working on various projects for Coca
Cola, MBC , Kelvinator & La Vache Kiri, to name but a few.
Craig holds a Ba (Hons)in Business Management and a Diploma in Media Composition
from the Film Music Institute of Los Angeles.
Hannah Hume
A graduate of Goldsmith's University London, Hannah assists with our on-line marketing functions and is our London based team member
for VIP events, project planning and public relations. As a 'grade eight' pianist and 'grade seven' flautist,
Hannah has a good ear for all that is fine in the world of music & entertainment. In fact many of our contemporary artists have been
added to the roster after Hannah has encountered them during her travels.
Hannah can also often be seen 'up and the down' the red carpet at London's premier film launches and theatre events, as part of her
role working for one of London's most renown event & PR companies. You will also find her this year working in the media office for the 2012 London Olympics.
Maidie Giraldo
Maidie has worked for FUNKGURUS since 2009 as a project coordinator based in our Middle East office.
Located on the Red Sea, Maidie is responsible for taking care of specific FUNKGURUS research projects
where her attention to detail is put to great use.
Over the past 2 years Maidie has painstakingly collated information for the various FUNKGURUS databases
and we certainly wouldn’t be where we are today without her.
When not working for FUNKGURUS Maidie can be found floating around the Red Sea on her fishing boat alongside husband Adam.
